SoFi Stadium Parking vs Transit
For a Rams or Chargers game, start with the full Metro-and-shuttle trip. Drive when your group, origin or tailgate setup makes the car useful. Choose rideshare only with a real pickup plan. The best arrival is the one that still works after the game.
ONE STADIUM · TWO NFL HOSTS
Your game decides the rules.
Rams parking, Chargers parking and a concert are different operating plans. Match your ticket before you buy a pass or count on a shuttle.
Choose the complete journey, not the headline price.
Metro + game shuttle
Useful when: Your base connects usefully to rail and you can make the return.
One rail stop does not finish the trip: include the shuttle, stadium approach and onward train.
Regional or remote shuttle
Useful when: A published pickup works better than crossing LA by rail.
Check the exact event, both directions, per-person fares and any origin parking.
Drive + paid parking
Useful when: The car earns its place through your origin, group, access needs or hosted tailgate.
Buy the correct event and zone, then follow its entry instructions. Parking is separate from admission.
Rideshare or a pickup
Useful when: You want a road ride without parking a vehicle for the game.
The postgame curb and a possible wait are part of the choice. Agree on the meeting point first.
GDT’s planning call: compare the full cost for your party, transfers, equipment, access needs and time after the game. A free shuttle is not a free door-to-door trip; paid parking is not automatically the easier exit.
Bring your colors. Settle the ride home.
A road game should leave room for the part you came for. Hosting the tailgate makes the car part of the day; meeting friends at theirs may not. Make that choice before loading the trunk, then give your attention to the matchup instead of the pickup pin. The best thing your transport plan can do is let you enjoy being there.
Find the right venue before choosing an entrance.
SoFi sits east of Prairie Avenue between Pincay Drive and Century Boulevard. Kia Forum is to the north; Intuit Dome is south of Century. A nearby venue’s parking offer does not make it part of your SoFi pass.

North is up. Kia Forum is north of Pincay Drive. SoFi is south of Pincay, north of Century Boulevard and east of Prairie Avenue. YouTube Theater is at SoFi’s southeast end. Intuit Dome is south of Century. These are relative positions, not a route or scale.
GDT’s original diagram is grounded in SoFi’s official map dated June 3, 2025. The streets provide orientation, not a promise of an open crossing or accessible path. Use the current event map for entry and traffic control.
Metro: C or K Line, then the SoFi shuttle.
For Rams and Chargers games, Metro’s current connection is LAX/Metro Transit Center, Bus Bay 8. Hawthorne/Lennox can be an origin for a park-and-rail trip; it is not the current SoFi Express boarding point. There is no public parking at LAX/Metro Transit Center.
- Reach LAX/Metro Transit Center. Plan your C or K Line journey from your actual base, including any transfer and the last onward service home.
- Board the SoFi Express at Bus Bay 8. The shuttle is free; your rail or bus journey and any station parking are separate.
- Complete the stadium approach. Metro identifies the stadium stop near Prairie Avenue and Arbor Vitae Street. Save that return location and follow event signs to your ticketed entrance.
Metro lists NFL service from three hours before kickoff. Return shuttles start when the fourth quarter begins and operate through 90 minutes after the game. That window does not guarantee your last train connection or an immediate departure.
The Express serves NFL preseason, regular-season and postseason games plus selected special events. A concert is not covered unless its service is announced. Regular buses can be another option, but their stops and final walk need a date-specific plan.
Other shuttles: start with the operating day.
- GTrans 7X from Harbor Gateway: the September 2026 change limits service to NFL-game Sundays. Check the current kickoff-based schedule, fare and station parking before choosing it. Monday and Thursday games need another plan.
- Inglewood Park & Go: the city links offsite lots with a stadium shuttle. Check the actual event offer, total price, passenger terms, accessible service and return window before buying.
Remote parking trades a closer car for another transfer. Keep its return instructions with your ticket; “parking included” and “everyone can ride” are separate questions.
If driving wins, buy for your team and event.
Use the pass’s zone and vehicle-entry instructions, not just “SoFi Stadium” in navigation. Match the date, vehicle and parking product before payment. Prices and available inventory vary; this guide does not quote a parking offer. Do not count on nearby residential street parking as a fallback; SoFi warns that permit restrictions are enforced.
Rams game
The Rams require onsite parking to be acquired in advance and say there are no event-day onsite sales. Their 2026 guidance treats Pink Zone passes differently: no transfer or resale. The Rams FAQ also says oversized RV and bus parking is no longer permitted in Pink Zone.
Chargers game
The Chargers direct mobile passes through Account Manager and support pass transfer or resale there. Their FAQ treats single-game inventory as conditional. Its oversized-lot wording conflicts with the team’s parking landing page, so confirm any oversized vehicle directly before purchase.
Both teams’ FAQs reject screenshots of mobile parking passes. Save the actual pass as instructed. Their late-arrival zone cutoffs differ; use your host team’s directions instead of borrowing the other team’s deadline.
Hosting a tailgate changes the transport choice.
Bringing a vehicle to host an NFL tailgate requires an advance Pink Zone parking pass. Everyone entering the campus needs a valid game ticket. Keep the setup inside the authorized space; a neighboring stall or access lane is not extra room. Activities end at kickoff, so plan time to pack away and enter.
The venue’s general NFL policy and team pages do not give one consistent Pink opening time. Check your game’s instructions. Rams guidance allows ticketed walkers to join an existing tailgate within its footprint; that is different from bringing a vehicle and hosting one. Confirm arrangements with your host. Metro prohibits grills and flammable products; check your transport operator’s luggage rules before taking gear.
Plan access from the vehicle to the seat, and back.
A valid accessible placard or plate establishes eligibility for accessible parking, with the holder present; it does not reserve a stall or replace an event parking pass. Confirm the zone, recommended entrance and assistance for your party before travel.
SoFi’s private-car accessible pickup has arrival deadlines. For NFL games, the driver must arrive by the end of the third quarter to use the designated ADA pickup route; later arrivals are redirected. Non-NFL instructions use a different cutoff. Confirm the exact event arrangement before relying on that pickup.
Venue wheelchair escorts begin at stadium entries and do not extend into parking lots. Confirm the station, shuttle boarding, final approach, entry assistance and return separately. Check current elevator and service notices with each operator.
The final whistle is not the end of the journey.
- Metro or a regional shuttle: save the boarding point and last return, then check the onward train, bus or parked car. Do not treat one operator’s window as the whole journey.
- Driving: keep the pass’s exit instructions and your parking location available. Leave margin before a flight, reservation or long drive; no exact exit time is promised.
- Meeting a car: agree on the permitted meeting point, who requests the ride and what happens if the group gets separated. Accessible pickup needs its own earlier arrangement.
If you want to stay for a postgame meal or meetup, pick a mode that supports it in advance. Decide on a backup with your group before a missed connection leaves you improvising.
Check your exact event before leaving.
- Confirm Rams, Chargers or another event and its latest instructions.
- Keep your mobile ticket, parking pass or shuttle confirmation ready.
- Recheck the whole return, pickup point and any access arrangement.
- Check current fees, service notices, closures and weather before departure.

Arrival decided. Make it a full SoFi visit.
Keep the return plan handy, then choose the rest of your day: ticket and entrance, time before the game and the visit around it.
