SoFi Stadium Visiting Fan Guide
Make the stadium part of the trip. Choose the football view you want, decide whether the pregame needs a car, and give the return as much attention as kickoff.

Start with the decision you haven’t made
Still choosing a ticket
Compare the view, the exact seat and what the ticket includes before buying the closest-looking dot on a map.
Want a football pregame
A permitted tailgate changes your vehicle, equipment and arrival plan. Make that choice before you pick transportation.
Already have the ticket
Match the parking zone or event shuttle to the right entrance, then save the return plan.
Pick the football view before the price point
GDT’s planning call: decide whether you care most about reading the whole play, being close to the action, or keeping more of the budget for the trip. Then compare real tickets for the same game. An area is a starting point; the section, row, seat and event setup decide the actual view.
- Sideline: compare an elevated angle that shows the field’s width with lower proximity to the players. Check how your exact row looks toward both ends of the field.
- End zone or corner: the angle can make approaching plays compelling; action at the far end is farther away. Compare the exact seat’s field view and your comfort with using the video board for detail.
- Upper levels: a broad field overview comes with greater distance from individual players. Compare total ticket cost and the journey to your seat rather than assuming every upper seat is a bargain.
- Club or premium listings: confirm the actual inclusions and access on that ticket. A familiar section name, resale photo or higher price does not establish lounge access, food or parking.
Ticket-view check: use reliable, recent evidence for the exact section, row and seat where available. Look for rails, glass, aisle traffic or equipment in that specific view, and read any restricted-view disclosure. A neighboring-row photo is a clue, not a guarantee. For concerts and other major events, the stage, floor layout and production towers can change the comparison. No universal “avoid these rows” list is supported here.
The Rams’ navigation guide also makes entry relevant to seat choice: some lower seating areas require a particular access path. Follow the entry on your own ticket; don’t plan on circling freely through every club or concourse.
Put your ticket on the right side of Century
Your SoFi destination is north of Century. Intuit Dome is a separate arena to the south; a ticket or parking label for one building does not establish access at the other.

Read the map: Kia Forum is east of Prairie Avenue and northwest of SoFi Stadium, across Pincay Drive. SoFi and YouTube Theater are north of Century Boulevard and east of Prairie Avenue. YouTube Theater sits at the southeast end of the shared canopy. Intuit Dome is south of Century and east of Prairie. Both Intuit garages are south of Century: the West Garage is west of Prairie and northwest of the arena; the East Garage is east of Prairie and northeast of the arena.
This GDT figure represents facts from the official maps inspected October 7, 2026. It has no scale, travel times, parking boundaries, entrance pins or walking lines. It does not certify an open or accessible crossing. Use your event’s current map and staff directions for the approach.
For Downtown, LAX and other LA venues, use the LA geography and transportation planner.
Leave a moment to take the whole place in

The field sits inside a much larger picture: tiers of fans, the roof above them and the oval screen suspended over the game. The historical photograph here shows that scale; your ticket decides where you experience it.
For a road fan, that first look into the bowl is part of the point. Find your seat before the opening rush, take in the home colors, and enjoy bringing a different jersey into the picture.
If the tailgate matters, plan it first
SoFi’s current NFL policy restricts tailgating to the Hyundai Pink Zone with the appropriate advance parking pass; it is not permission attached to every stadium parking purchase. Guests also need a valid game ticket to enter the campus on game day. Tailgating ends by kickoff, and the actual lot-opening instructions belong to your game.
GDT’s call: drive when the vehicle and your group’s setup are part of the day you want. Agree on equipment, who is carrying it and who is driving home. If you mainly want a meal and time to enjoy the stadium, a less equipment-heavy pregame gives you more transport options. Check current dining choices and access before building the afternoon around a particular stand or lounge.
Choose the journey you can also reverse
- Driving: it can suit a tailgate or a wider itinerary with equipment. Buy for the correct event and follow the zone and entrance on the pass. Keep the parking destination distinct from the stadium’s general address.
- Rail plus an event shuttle: for Rams and Chargers games, Metro directs C/K Line travelers to LAX/Metro Transit Center for the SoFi Stadium Express. Confirm service for your exact date and the last return; selected-event service is not a promise for every concert.
- Rideshare: it avoids parking your own vehicle, but you still need the event’s designated pickup point and a meeting plan after the game. Check the current venue directions before requesting the car.
Three things to settle before leaving your base
- Ticket access: open the ticket on your phone and follow the issuer’s wallet instructions while you still have a reliable connection. Check the event, the entry and the tickets for everyone traveling with you.
- Bag and belongings: SoFi currently allows clear bags up to 12 × 6 × 12 inches and small non-clear clutches up to 4.5 × 6.5 inches, subject to event instructions. Check exceptions and prohibited items directly; don’t assume another LA venue uses the same rule.
- Seat access: use the recommended entry and ask the venue about the complete route if stairs, elevators or assistance matter. Buy the needed accessible seating before the event where possible; same-day relocations are limited.
Let the hardest return help choose the hotel
An Inglewood-focused stay can make sense when SoFi is the anchor of the trip. A weekend that also includes Downtown, Dodger Stadium or another LA venue needs a broader comparison. Start with the exact accommodation address and test the late return for each ticket. “Near SoFi” is too broad to establish a comfortable walk or an easy airport transfer.
For a same-day flight or second event, add time for leaving the bowl, reaching the vehicle or shuttle, the onward journey and the next check-in or security line. Keep that second commitment flexible when the whole chain is unproven.
The final check belongs to your event
- Date, start time, ticket configuration and event-specific entry notice
- Exact section/row/seat evidence, restrictions and ticket inclusions
- Parking zone or shuttle service, pickup point and last return
- Bag policy, access needs and the recommended stadium entry
Official guidance reviewed October 7, 2026. Recheck when you book and before game day. Event overlays, transport and permitted items can change; historical photos do not establish today’s operations.
Choose the date. Then finish the way home.
You have the order: ticket view, pregame, arrival and return. Open your actual event, settle its instructions and leave room for the first look into the stadium.
