LOS ANGELES / DOWNTOWN ARENA
Crypto.com Arena parking vs transit
Start with rail if your base connects easily to the A or E Line and the return service fits your night. A nearby Downtown stay can make walking simpler. Drive or book a ride when transfers, timing or access needs change the answer.

A or E Line works from your base
Rail brings you to Pico. Keep the street approach and the last usable train home in the plan.
See the rail chainB or D Line, or a Downtown stay
Compare the Figueroa walk from 7th St/Metro Center with a transfer to Pico. For a nearby hotel, check the actual walking route.
Compare the approachesA car fits the whole trip better
Choose a named garage entrance or a designated ride pickup zone. Include the trip out of Downtown.
Plan the car optionGDT’s call is about trip fit. It is not a fastest-route or shortest-wait promise. Start with the return plan if you have a late show, an onward train or an access requirement.
Make rail a complete journey
Pico serves the A and E Lines. At 7th St/Metro Center, the B and D Lines connect with both. A Line riders can travel between Union Station and Pico without changing trains under the published route pattern.
Already on the A or E Line
- Your base → the right platformUse the direction that takes you to Pico; check the train’s destination and current notices.
- A or E Line → PicoLeave the train here for Metro’s nearer arena approach.
- Pico → street approachUse the walking sequence below, then your event’s entrance instructions.
Arriving on the B or D Line
- B or D Line → 7th St/Metro CenterChoose the direct street walk or a rail transfer.
- Transfer option → PicoTake the A Line toward Long Beach or E Line toward Santa Monica. Pico is the next stop.
- Allow for the transferChanging platforms and waiting for another train are part of the journey.
Use Metro’s current train destination and service notices for platform directions. Its A Line timetable runs to Pomona North; some arena guidance still uses the older “Azusa” label.
Plan your outbound and return tripsPay before you reach the platform
Metro’s regular fare is $1.75 one way. Transfers within two hours are included when you tap, but a return trip is separate. Cash payment is for buses only. Use Metro’s current payment instructions for rail.
Check Metro fares and ways to payPico or 7th Street: choose the street approach
The two station approaches reach the arena from different directions. The sequences below restate Metro’s published walking instructions; they show order, not a measured street map.
From Pico: approach from the south
- Pico StationExit to Pico Boulevard.
- West on Pico BoulevardContinue to Figueroa Street.
- North on Figueroa StreetTurn right. The arena is on the left.
From 7th St/Metro Center: approach from the north
- 7th St/Metro CenterReach Figueroa Street.
- South on Figueroa StreetContinue toward the arena.
- Arena on the rightFollow the entrance named for your event or access plan.
For a B or D Line trip, staying on foot avoids another train transfer but adds walking. Allow for crossings, crowds, closures, your pace and the entrance you need. Metro’s general walk estimates are only a starting point.
Open Metro’s arena walking directionsAlready staying nearby? Check the route from your exact hotel and agree where your group will meet afterward. “Downtown” is a broad base label, not proof that a hotel is within your comfortable walking range.
Driving: choose the entrance before the freeway exit
If you drive, navigate to the entrance on your parking product. The arena’s 1111 S. Figueroa Street address identifies the building; it does not identify your garage gate.
- West Garage, Gate B
- 1005 Chick Hearn Court
- West Garage, Gate D
- 1015 Chick Hearn Court
- West Garage, Gates E & F
- 1015 Georgia Street
- East Garage
- 888 W. Olympic Boulevard
- Lot 1
- 900 Chick Hearn Court
The West Garage has several entrances. Match the gate as well as the garage name; availability and the terms of your actual event product still control. Check the full price, opening time, vehicle clearance, return access and any parking-pass restrictions before paying.
The arena publishes different opening rules by lot and event, and its general hours include conflicting late-night wording. Confirm your departure time with the parking operator instead of treating a general closing time as guaranteed. The venue says there are no in-and-out privileges or overnight parking in its event-lot rules.
Check arena parking rules and contact detailsDrive partway, then take Metro
Station parking can keep the final drive out of Downtown. Choose a station that fits your route, then check its parking conditions and the last train back to that station. Metro says prices, hours and availability vary by location.
Check parking at Metro stationsRideshare: name the street and direction
The arena directs rideshare vehicles to these designated white zones:
- Chick Hearn Court, eastbound: between L.A. LIVE Way and Georgia Street.
- Figueroa Street, southbound: between 12th Street and Pico Boulevard.
Street direction matters. Agree on the same zone with your driver and follow posted signs, staff and the app’s current instructions. A nearby pin does not permit stopping at an arena door or in a no-stopping area.
Check the arena’s rideshare zonesSet your return meeting point before entering. Request the ride when your party can reach the permitted location, and keep a fallback if the wait or fare changes. A booked ride removes the parking task; you still need to reach the pickup area.
Plan access from your first stop to your seat
Check the whole chain before committing: station exit or parking space, street approach, security entrance, seat and return pickup. A station or arena accessibility statement alone does not verify every link for your needs.
The arena’s parking map identifies accessible spaces in West Garage Gate B and East Garage. Its parking guidance requires a current state-issued disability placard or plate and describes spaces as first come, first served. Contact Parking Services at 213-765-6815 to confirm your vehicle and event plan.
Guest Services describes wheelchair escorts on request at arena entry points, or by calling 213-742-7326 on arrival. An escort is not a wheelchair for use throughout the event. Confirm your return assistance directly with the arena.
Review arena accessibility and assistanceMetro describes its buses and rail lines as wheelchair accessible and stations as having ramps, walkways or elevators. If your trip depends on step-free access, confirm the actual station exits, street approach and any lift outage or detour before travel.

Tailgating is prohibited in Crypto.com Arena and L.A. LIVE parking lots. If you want time together before the event, make that a separate part of the Downtown plan instead of building the day around your parked car.

Bring your colors. Settle the trip home before the building gives you something better to think about.
Choose the trip home before tipoff, puck drop or the show
Build the return from your final destination backward. A train leaving Pico is useful only if it still connects with the next train, bus or ride you need.
- Choose the correct service day and directionCheck your event date, including the date after midnight if needed. A short-turn train may not reach your final stop.
- Check every onward connectionFor B or D Line riders using Pico, include the transfer at 7th St/Metro Center. Metrolink and Amtrak have their own schedules.
- Allow room for the exit and walkUse a workable departure before the last possible connection. Overtime, encores and queues can change your plan.
- Save one fallbackKeep your pickup zone, parking location or alternative ride plan available to everyone in the group.
We do not promise extra trains after an arena event or a universal “last train” time. Use the current timetable and service alerts for your direction and travel date. If the complete return no longer works, change the arrival choice before leaving your base.
Check the details your night depends on
Core route and venue sources checked October 9, 2026. Recheck when your event, return time, parking product, service notice or access needs change. This is planning guidance, not live operating status.
If a notice conflicts with this guide, use the current operator instructions for that event or journey. Confirm unresolved parking or access details directly before travel.
