Find your seat
At a glance
Compare a centered 100-level seat, an upper sideline row and a Premier ticket.
Basket supports, glass and netting change sightlines. A photo from another sport is not enough.
The right seat for your game day
Basketball rewards a centered sideline view. For Kings hockey, a little elevation can make the puck easier to follow. Low rows trade the overview for proximity and intensity.
Compare the total price, actual row and included benefits. Resolve access needs before paying.
Lakers basketball · 2026–27
Get oriented before you choose a section

Read the bowl, then check the ticket
Use this season overview to place a section in the building. The colors identify levels, not prices, access rights or seat quality.
- 100 level: Sections 101–119.
- 200 level: Sections 205–210 and 214–219.
- Premier: PR 1–18; the official guide uses PRM.
- 300 level: Sections 301–324 and 329–334.
- UCTER: UC TER in the official guide; between 324 and 329.
In this drawing, 101 and 301 sit below the court; 111 and 318 sit above it. UCTER is on the right. This describes the drawing’s orientation, not compass directions.
Rows, individual seats, suites, specialty areas, accessible locations and event-specific courtside layouts are not shown. Check your game’s official ticket map and listing before buying.

Scroll inside the frame to read every section. Keyboard: Tab into the frame, then use the arrow keys. Open the full-size chart above for your browser’s image zoom. Select this heading again to close.

Section labels and relative placement checked November 5, 2026 against the official 2026–27 Lakers Media Guide, printed page 350 (PDF page 352). This is a season overview, not a verified map of a particular game’s available seats. For Kings hockey, Sparks basketball or a concert, use that event’s map; the Lakers chart does not certify those configurations.
Food & drink
Make the meal fit the evening. Choose a sports-bar meetup, a proper sit-down dinner or a simpler stop before heading inside.

A game-night plan you can actually use
Work backward from the start time on your ticket. The times below are GDT planning buffers, not official door times, walking-time promises or a fixed event schedule. For an afternoon game, use the same order with lunch instead of dinner.
01 · BEFORE YOU LEAVE
Set up the whole evening
Open the correct mobile ticket, leave your everyday bag at your base and check permitted exceptions. Choose your way home before you leave. If you plan to use Metro, check the return service as well as the trip in.
02 · ABOUT 2–3 HOURS BEFORE
Make the meal a decision
For a sit-down pregame meal, aim to be in L.A. LIVE with enough time to eat without watching the clock. Choose Tom’s for screens, Fixins for a full meal, Yard House for varied tastes or Smashburger for something simpler.
03 · BEFORE JOINING THE QUEUE
Leave room for Star Plaza
If access and time allow, make one statue or exterior photo stop. The arena’s basketball and hockey history is part of the visit. Keep your party together and follow the entrance instructions on the ticket.
04 · AT YOUR EVENT’S DOOR TIME
Go inside with a purpose
Door times vary by event. After screening, find the section and restrooms first. Then use any spare time for a concession or the Kings Hall of Fame on the main concourse.
05 · BEFORE TIPOFF OR PUCK DROP
Be in your seat for the buildup
Our suggestion is to settle in 20–30 minutes before the scheduled start if doors allow. That leaves time to take in the banners and warmups without turning the last few minutes into a concourse sprint.
06 · AFTER THE FINAL BUZZER
Follow the return you chose
If you are staying Downtown, follow your planned route back. If you are using rail, prioritize the train you need over another stop. A postgame meal works best when the kitchen is still open and your return does not depend on the last service.
Downtown is the starting point. Your full journey still matters.
Crypto.com Arena is at 1111 S. Figueroa Street in Downtown Los Angeles, within the L.A. LIVE event district. That makes a Downtown base worth comparing for an arena-focused stay. If the weekend includes other LA venues, choose the base around the whole trip.
Metro identifies Pico for the A and E lines, and 7th Street/Metro Center for the A, B, D and E lines. This is station context, not a route from your hotel or a promise of late-night service.

Where to sit for basketball or hockey
The useful question is what you want to see. Start with a centered view if following the whole game matters most; move closer if the players and pace are the reason for the splurge. These are seat-selection starting points, not guarantees for a particular row.
Basketball: Start with a centered sideline view. Hockey: Start with an elevated center-ice view.
Lakers or Sparks: favor the sideline
For a balanced view: compare the lower-bowl center sections around 101 and 111. A little elevation helps you follow spacing and both baskets instead of looking through people at floor level.
For a smaller ticket budget: compare upper sideline sections around 301 and 318 with the lower-bowl corners. You trade player detail for an overview of the court. Check the actual row, price and railing in a seat-view photo; the 300 level sits above the suite levels.
For proximity: a low row can make the speed and size of the players the main event. Baseline seats give a different angle, but the basket and support can interrupt the view. A cheaper end seat is not automatically a better buy than a centered upper seat.
Kings: choose overview or ice-level intensity
For following the puck: start with an elevated side view near center ice, including the areas around 101 and 111. Upper center sections such as 301 and 318 give a wider view of breakouts and line changes, with less close-up detail.
For the glass: low rows put board battles close, but glass, benches and other spectators can make the far end harder to follow. Look at a hockey photo from the actual section and row, not a basketball photo from the same building.
For a goal-end view: you see attacks coming toward you and plays develop up the ice. Check the event map’s attack-twice designation if following one team matters. Protective netting is installed behind both goals, and pucks can still enter the seating area. Stay alert and bring a layer for the cooler rink.
Our default comparison: a centered 100-level seat, a lower-row upper-sideline seat, and a Premier Seat. Compare the total ticket price, exact row and included benefits before deciding that the closest seat wins. If stairs, a transfer seat or space for a mobility device matter, resolve those needs before paying.
What a Premier ticket changes
Premier Seats offer an elevated view plus premium amenities. The arena advertises in-seat food and beverage service for Lakers and Kings games. Check the specific ticket’s lounge access and what transfers with a resale purchase; do not assume that food, drinks or parking are included.
Check official Premier Seat details
Concert or another event
Check the production’s stage position, floor arrangement and any restricted-view notice. A floor ticket may mean standing. The exact listing controls; a general arena diagram cannot promise the view for that show.
Find your event and ticket details
Follow the ticket button on that event’s page. Current arena events use more than one ticketing platform; don’t assume one app covers every visit.

You came for the game. Notice the place, too.
The building carries the history of three home franchises. Star Plaza honors names from basketball and hockey, including Magic Johnson, Wayne Gretzky and Lisa Leslie; inside, Lakers, Kings and Sparks championship history is part of the setting. Your own jersey can belong in that picture without making the home crowd the punchline.

Take your colors into the room. Give yourself enough time to look up before the game asks you to look down.
Pick one thing to notice rather than trying to collect the whole arena before the start. The arena also reports a Kings Hall of Fame on the main concourse. Check access and event instructions before making a plaza photo stop or an indoor display essential to your plans; redevelopment information does not guarantee an open route.
Where to eat before a Crypto.com Arena game
L.A. LIVE gives you several genuinely different pregame choices without adding another neighborhood to the evening. Pick the kind of meal first, then check the restaurant’s hours and availability for your date. For a sit-down dinner, our planning suggestion is to reach the district roughly two to three hours before the game, with more margin for a large party.

Tom’s Watch Bar
For a sports-first meetup
1011 S. Figueroa Street
Choose Tom’s when watching the earlier game is part of your plan. Its wall-to-wall screens and sports-bar menu make it a natural place to meet fans before heading into the arena. It is a lively viewing room rather than the choice for a quiet conversation. The current listing opens at 4 p.m. Monday–Thursday, so check before choosing it for a daytime game.
Fixins Soul Kitchen
For a meal that is part of the outing
800 W. Olympic Boulevard
Choose Fixins for a full-service soul-food meal near the GRAMMY Museum. Give the meal its own time rather than treating it as a quick stop before security. Check reservations for your group; its published Sunday–Thursday closing time is 9 p.m., so it fits more naturally before most evening games than after them.
Yard House
For a mixed group or a later kitchen
800 W. Olympic Boulevard
Choose Yard House when people want different things from the menu or you want a possible postgame food stop. The L.A. LIVE listing currently gives kitchen closing times of midnight Sunday–Thursday and 1 a.m. Friday–Saturday. Check the night you are visiting before building your return around a late meal.
Smashburger
For a simpler burger-and-shake stop
800 W. Olympic Boulevard
Choose Smashburger when you would rather keep the meal straightforward and put more of the evening inside the arena. Burgers, fries and shakes are the core idea. Leave a queue buffer: choosing a simpler meal does not guarantee quick service on an event night.
Dining choices are based on the operators’ current listings. Hours and menus checked November 5, 2026.

Eating inside: pick a stop near your seat
If the priority is warmups and the building itself, eat inside instead. The arena’s 2026–27 food announcement lists Deli Dash in Section 115 for its LA Mac & Philly Chicken Cheesesteak, and Golden Road Brew House on the Main Concourse for teriyaki and pork-belly bowls. Use those as named starting points, then check the event’s open stands and current menu in the food directory.
Premium menus are separate from the public-concourse choices. For an allergy or other important dietary need, ask the venue directly before relying on a stand. Finish your food stop before play resumes; ushers may hold entry to the seating bowl during action.
Arena food and experience update for 2026–27. Stand operation and menu availability can vary by event.
Build access into the ticket decision.
Choose the accessible seating option you need when buying. Day-of relocation depends on availability, and companion seats are not guaranteed. Tell the venue what matters for this visit: step-free access, a transfer seat, a mobility device, hearing or vision assistance, or another specific need.
The arena offers complimentary wheelchair escorts, but the escort chair and staff do not stay with you throughout the event. If you need a chair for the whole visit, settle that separately. Ask how assistance at entry, your seat and departure will connect; this page does not certify a complete accessible route.
Audio-description and sign-language requests need at least two weeks’ notice, and availability can vary by event. Read the current accessibility guide and contact the arena early. On the night, ask staff for Guest Services rather than relying on a fixed upper-level aisle number.
Settle these before you leave your base.
- Open the right ticket before leaving. Follow the app or wallet instructions for the ticket you bought. Confirm it is visible, charge your phone, and complete any available transfer and claim steps if people will arrive separately. Screenshots and printed mobile codes are not entry tickets.
- Leave the everyday bag at your base. The dedicated policy prohibits ordinary bags, including clear bags. It permits inspected clutches/wallets smaller than 5 × 9 × 1 inches and medical/parental bags smaller than 14 × 14 × 6 inches with additional screening. Confirm exceptions and the appropriate screening entrance with staff.
- Use your event’s door time. There is no single opening interval for every game and show. Check the event page; allow your own margin for security, assistance and anything you want to see before the start.
- Have a card or mobile payment ready. Prepare for cash-free spending inside. Ticket-purchase payment options are a separate Box Office question.
- Ask before stepping outside. If you need to leave and return, contact Guest Services before exiting for the required ticket scan. Reentry includes another security check and ticket scan.
Operational sources checked October 9, 2026. Recheck for your exact event; policies, doors and assistance arrangements can change.
