SEATTLE · T-MOBILE PARK · ARRIVAL & EXIT
Choose the way home before the first pitch.
Start with Link, bus or a workable walk if your base and return trip fit. Keep driving on the table when it solves the rest of your day. A baseball outing can run beyond your first estimate, so give the final out its own transport plan.
Make the ballpark arrival call
GDT’s call: choose the option that works for your whole trip. Access needs and the return journey can change the answer.
TRANSIT / WALK
You can reach a useful station, bus stop or walking route.
Compare the return trip as carefully as the arrival. Build in enough flexibility to enjoy the game you bought a ticket for.
DRIVE / PARK
The car suits your group, access plan or onward trip.
Choose a real facility and check its event terms. “Near the ballpark” is not an entrance, a space guarantee or an exit strategy.
Three arrival chains, one ballpark
The board identifies the important handoffs. Arrows mean trip sequence only. It is not to scale and does not show street-by-street or accessible routes.
01 / LINK / BUS
Your origin → Stadium or International District/Chinatown, or your planned bus stop → surface transfer → T-Mobile Park
Sound Transit identifies both stations for the ballpark. Match your departure point, return service and final walking route before choosing.
02 / PARKING
Mariners Garage → across Edgar Martinez Drive to the north → T-Mobile Park
Save the facility’s actual entry instructions and check the pedestrian route to your gate. This relationship is orientation only.
03 / WATER TAXI
West Seattle or Vashon → Pier 50 → a separate onward trip → ballpark
The boat arrives on the downtown waterfront, not at the stadium. Plan the onward walk or transit leg and the return sailing as separate decisions.
Read the station geography
Stadium Station sits south of South Royal Brougham Way, between the SODO Busway and Sixth Avenue South. The operator map points west from the station’s northern end toward the stadiums. It depicts the local connection, not the full route to a particular gate.
The operator map places Union Station west of International District/Chinatown Station and Fifth Avenue South east, and marks separate north and south access areas around South Jackson and South King streets. Verify the usable exit and elevator status before traveling.
These station-area maps carry April2022 source dates and remain linked from the operator’s current station pages. Use them for the relationships described here; live alerts and event controls decide the usable trip.
Reading the board: named places are verified nodes; arrows show sequence only. No route geometry, journey time or available service is implied. Use the operator’s current map, signs and access guidance for the actual path.

THE REASON TO PLAN
Make space for the ballpark, not just the seat
An away-game baseball trip deserves more than a sprint from transport to the turnstile. Set your arrival before you set your pregame stop, and decide how much flexibility you want after the game. You can plan the ride home without predicting the final inning.
What changes the call?
A ferry or water-taxi trip
Know which operator and terminal your ticket uses. Washington State Ferries, King County Water Taxi and other passenger ferries are different services. Confirm the full chain before treating the water crossing as your way home.
A Sounder game train
Sounder special event service is date-specific. Check the event list and the actual return rule. A normal rail map is not evidence that a game train will run.
A rideshare
The Mariners identify a rideshare lot southeast of the ballpark; confirm the exact pickup or drop-off point in your app. Build that meeting point into the exit plan.

Choose the accessible trip as a whole
Mariners accessible parking is limited; designated drop-off areas may change with traffic control. Confirm arrangements directly using the club’s accessibility guide. Include the route between vehicle or station and your gate, and the route back after the game. Check transit elevator status separately. No route on this board is labeled step-free.

THE RETURN TICKET
Plan the exit while the choices are still easy
TRANSIT RIDER
Save the station or stop, direction and last useful service for your return. Use live operator alerts before heading out. A train on the route map is not a promise of service at your departure time.
DRIVER
Record the parking facility, pedestrian re-entry point and your eventual destination. Follow current signs and attendants. Do not build the evening around an unverified shortcut through the stadium district.
BOAT OR RIDESHARE RIDER
Check the sailing or permitted pickup first, then work backward to the terminal or meeting point. Keep a practical alternative if the game runs late or your original option changes.
One last check, then enjoy the game
Before leaving: confirm your exact event, permitted arrival point, access arrangements and return service. Save any ticket or parking details you need, the venue entrance and a useful backup. Recheck operator notices close to departure.
