Truist Park Visiting Fan Guide

Take your colors to Cumberland. A Braves road game starts with one useful choice: keep baseball close, or stay in central Atlanta and plan the trip out. Settle that before first pitch, then leave room for the ballpark itself.

YOUR BASEBALL TRIP

Base. Arrival. First pitch.

Braves-centered weekend

Start with The Battery or Cumberland if repeated trips to the ballpark are the main event. Compare the exact hotel-to-gate journey before paying for a location label.

Atlanta with a ballgame

A central base can suit a wider city trip. Treat the Cumberland journey as its own outing, with a real return plan rather than a train-to-the-stadium assumption.

Make time for the park

Choose one pregame priority beyond finding your seat: some Braves history, a food stop or a look around. You came for visiting-team runs; the setting is part of the trip too.

Cumberland is its own game-day plan

Truist Park is in Cumberland, northwest of Downtown Atlanta. Start with the Braves’ transportation guidance. The two areas are distinct choices, so build your day around where you will actually sleep and what happens after the game.

Driving works best with a chosen lot and its directions. Rideshare needs a pickup plan. Transit requires checking the entire connection, including the final approach and the trip home. If you are staying nearby, verify the pedestrian route and your access needs rather than relying on straight-line distance.

For a broader trip, compare Atlanta bases. If you land on game day, plan the airport-to-base sequence before fitting in the ballpark. Leave a place for your luggage and a margin for delays.

A little of their baseball history

Monument Garden honors Hank Aaron with a statue and displays from Braves history. Read about Monument Garden. You can admire the home team’s past and spend the next nine innings rooting against its present. Both belong on a good road trip.

The Battery brings dining and entertainment into the wider ballpark visit. Get your bearings around The Battery. Choose one stop that fits your ticket time; a restaurant plan is not a reason to assume you can leave the ballpark and return.

The 2026 menu includes peach-cobbler-filled Peach Dingers. Inside, browse the Braves’ current concession guide before the group scatters. Pick food around the baseball you want to watch. A planned meal beats discovering that everyone has a different priority just as the game begins.

Tickets, entry and accessibility

Use the MLB Ballpark app to manage your digital tickets. Follow the Braves’ app guidance. Open the right event before leaving your hotel, check every ticket in your group and charge the phone you will use to get home.

Compare your exact section and ticket type with the official seating chart. Confirm anything that matters to your group, including companion seating, stairs, sightlines or a particular amenity, before committing. A seat-map label is not a guarantee about shade or comfort for your date.

For 2026, bags are generally prohibited with specified exceptions; ordinary re-entry is prohibited. Check the complete ballpark policies before packing. Confirm your event’s gate time, permitted items, payment arrangements and weather procedures there. Keep travel luggage at your accommodation rather than making stadium storage the plan.

If you need an accessible space, assistance or a sensory accommodation, review the Braves’ accessibility guide and confirm the arrangement with the operator before travel. Check the full chain from accommodation or vehicle to your seat and back. Near the venue is not the same as suitable for your needs.

Represent your team and give the people around you room to enjoy theirs. Read the ballpark code of conduct. Good rivalry is something you share with the home crowd, not something you do to it.

Decide the return before the first inning

Write down the lot, stop or pickup arrangement you will use after the game. Agree on a meeting point with your group and keep enough phone battery for the last leg. Extra innings, weather or a changed start time should trigger a fresh look at any fixed departure.
