Who we are
GameDayTraveler is operated by Chris Nowlin. This policy describes how we handle information collected through https://gamedaytraveler.com, GameDayTraveler partnership inquiry forms on Facebook and Instagram, and related communications.
For privacy questions or requests, email chris@gamedaytraveler.com.
Information you provide
When you submit a website partnership inquiry, we receive the information you enter, including your business name, contact name, email address, city or market, business category, website if supplied, preferred placement, and message. The form also includes optional campaign source and variant fields. Campaign details from the link you followed, including UTM source, medium, campaign, content and term, can be filled into these fields.
If you submit a GameDayTraveler inquiry through a Facebook or Instagram lead form, we receive the fields you submit, such as business name, business email, location, role and category. The fields displayed in the form identify what you are being asked to provide. Meta also processes information through its platform under Meta’s privacy policy.
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address, message and any information you choose to include. Please provide business contact information only in partnership inquiries, not passwords, payment-card details, government identifiers or sensitive personal information.
How we use inquiry information
We use partnership inquiries to understand your business and requested placement, check relevance and availability, respond to your questions, and follow up about possible partnerships and any resulting business relationship.
We do not sell partnership inquiry information or add inquiry contacts to unrelated marketing lists. Sending an inquiry does not make a purchase, reserve a placement or create a subscription.
Website analytics and cookies
Our website uses Google Analytics and Jetpack Stats to understand visits and interactions. These services can process information such as pages viewed, referring links, browser and device information, approximate location, timestamps and interactions. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers. Our site also loads GoDaddy website-performance scripts.
Learn more about Google’s processing of information from partner sites, Automattic’s notice for visitors to sites using Jetpack, and GoDaddy’s privacy notice.
WordPress features may also use cookies to maintain login sessions or save preferences when you use those features.
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect some functions and does not necessarily stop all data collection. Google also provides a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers. These controls do not delete information already submitted to us or control every service on the site.
Forms, email and service providers
Our WordPress website uses WPForms for website inquiries and has FluentSMTP installed for email delivery. Website-hosting and email services handle information needed to operate the site, deliver messages and allow us to respond. We use Google’s Gmail service for our GameDayTraveler email inbox.
Meta handles submissions made through its own lead forms. Google and Automattic process website analytics as described above. These platforms’ processing is also subject to their applicable privacy notices. A request to GameDayTraveler does not itself remove information held independently by a platform.
Comments and accounts
Where website comments or account registration are available, we receive the information you submit for those features. Comments can be publicly visible. WordPress and related services can process technical information to manage accounts, maintain login sessions and detect spam.
The website includes Akismet spam-protection and Gravatar avatar features. If you use a feature that relies on Automattic services, information may be processed as described in the Automattic visitor notice linked above. Do not post information in a public comment that you want to keep private.
How long we keep inquiry information
We retain inquiry and correspondence records while they are needed for the inquiry, a resulting business relationship or required records. We remove them when they are no longer needed for those purposes.
Privacy questions and requests
Email chris@gamedaytraveler.com with privacy questions or to request access, correction, deletion, or no further partnership follow-up. We may need information to verify a request. Applicable law may require some records to be retained.
Other websites and policy updates
Links to other businesses, travel services and social platforms take you to services governed by their own privacy practices. Embedded content from another service, where present, can allow that service to collect information about your interaction with it. Review the relevant service’s policy before providing information.
We may update this policy as our services or practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
